The School of Literatures, Cultures, and Linguistics (SLCL) is home to nine departments and four interdisciplinary programs that serve and interface with programs within SLCL, the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and across campus of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Reporting to the Director, the Assistant Director of Business Affairs serves as a senior advisor to conceptualize and implement the operations of the Business Affairs Office whose mission it is to provide financial oversight, information and advice to the School of Literatures, Cultures, and Linguistics’ Director, Executive Officers, faculty and staff. The assistant director provides strategic financial vision and budget forecasting for the School.
This is a full-time academic professional position. Salary is commensurate with experience. Starting date is as soon as possible after the closing date. Interviews may take place prior to the closing date, however no hiring decision will be made until after that date.
