NCSA is currently seeking one or more Research Programmers/Senior Research Programmers to provide general and specialized technical expertise and support to the Blue Waters project with an emphasis on scalable algorithms on CPU and GPU resources. Assist the science and engineering teams using the system to efficiently exploit the innovative, leading-edge features of the Blue Waters hardware and software, and conduct breakthrough scientific research.

This is a regular academic professional position at NCSA and is an annually renewable, 12/12, 100%-time appointment with regular University benefits. Salary is commensurate with experience and start date will be as soon as possible after the close date of the search.
