Visiting Associate/Full Professors Department of Economics University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
The Department of Economics invites applications for Visiting Associate/Full Professors to teach courses that will broaden the department’s Master of Science: Policy Economics (MSPE) program and the undergraduate program in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics. Specific needs include Microeconomics, Machine Learning, theoretical and applied econometrics, and other topics in Applied Economics, but candidates in other fields that would enhance our MSPE and undergraduate programs will also be considered.
The Department offers a Ph.D. degree, a professional Master’s degree (MSPE), and three undergraduate degrees (B.A. in Economics, B.S. in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics, and B.S. in Computer Science and Economics). Applicants must hold a PhD in Economics or equivalent degree and previous teaching experience, preferably in a unit with a professional science master’s degree. Successful candidates are expected to have a record indicating proficiency in research.
Available positions are part or full time for Spring 2022 (target start date Jan 1, 2022), Summer 2022 (target start date June 16, 2022 or July 16, 2022) and Fall 2022 (target start date August 16, 2022). Renewal of positions are contingent on positive performance reviews and departmental need. Salary will be commensurate with the research record, qualifications, and accomplishments.
