Clinical Instructors - The School and Community Experiences

The School and Community Experiences, in the College of Education, at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, seeks Clinical Instructors to serve as direct supervisors of teacher candidates during their field experiences. These part-time positions will be between zero to 80% time, depending on the load. The Clinical Instructors are responsible for coordination of the overall supervision throughout the semester.

Clinical supervisors make classroom observations of the student teachers and offer support and guidance to the cooperating teachers. The supervisor is also the major communication link between the placement school and the College of Education. Supervisors will meet regularly with School and Community Experiences (SCE) staff and have frequent communications with the methods instructors.
